A One-Day Peak District 4x4 Adventure
Experience an extraordinary one-day journey through the rugged yet beautiful landscapes of the Peak District. This guided 4x4 tour is designed for those looking for an adventurous day out, combining dramatic scenery, technical lanes and varied off-road terrain.
Your day begins just outside Buxton, where we meet for a briefing before heading out towards Matlock. We start with a selection of rocky trails, giving you an exciting introduction to the terrain before passing through Buxton and navigating quarry roads that showcase the more rugged side of the Peak District.
From there, we continue our route towards the dramatic Winnats Pass, one of the area’s most striking locations. We’ll stop here for lunch, giving you time to take in the surrounding scenery before the afternoon section begins.
After lunch, we head towards Castleton before travelling north across a long rocky and sandy route. This part of the tour offers a great mix of terrain, open views and engaging driving, guided throughout by our experienced tour leaders.
As the day draws to a close, we drop down towards Matlock for the final series of lanes. It’s the perfect way to finish a memorable day of off-road driving through one of England’s most iconic national parks.
