These are lanes we have never offered before, so if you haven’t driven this route with us yet, you’re in for a real treat. From wide-open views and valley tracks to water crossings and the iconic Breasthigh Pass, this adventure has a bit of everything.

Hawes to Kendal Adventure

Join us for a full day of off-road driving on our brand-new Hawes to Kendal route for 2026. Carefully planned to offer a mix of scenery, challenge and variety, this is a fantastic route for anyone looking to experience a fresh side of Northern England by 4x4.

Your journey begins in Hawes, where we head straight out onto the moors. The route opens with big skies, sweeping views and flowing lanes that set the tone for the day ahead. It’s a brilliant introduction to the landscape, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and capture some memorable photos.

Dropping down from the high ground, we work our way through the valley before tackling a series of water crossings, weather and conditions permitting. These add a fun and technical element to the morning drive while keeping the route varied and engaging.

Midday, we stop for lunch, giving everyone time to relax, refuel and enjoy the surroundings before the next stage of the adventure begins.

After lunch, we push into the Lake District and take on the iconic climb up Breasthigh Pass. This is one of the real highlights of the route — steep, scenic and incredibly rewarding. If we’re lucky, we may even catch sight of fast jets flying low overhead, adding even more drama to an already spectacular landscape.

From there, the route drops back down into a network of lanes as we make our way towards Kendal. Expect scenic descents, flowing tracks and a satisfying finish to a full and varied day of green-laning.

The tour concludes near Kendal after a memorable day of moorland views, water crossings, mountain passes and classic Lake District adventure.
