Hawes to Kendal – New Route for 2026

This brand-new route for 2026 is a must-do and lanes we have never offered before. If you haven’t driven this one with us before, you’re in for a real treat — it truly has it all, combining wide-open moorland, technical sections, and classic Lake District scenery.

Your Journey Begins

We start the day in Hawes, heading straight out onto the moors where the route opens with big skies and stunning panoramic views. This early section sets the tone perfectly, offering flowing lanes and unforgettable scenery.

Dropping down off the high ground, we work our way through the valley before tackling a series of water crossings(weather and conditions permitting), adding a fun and technical element to the morning drive.

Midday, we break for lunch, giving everyone time to relax and refuel before heading into the next stage of the adventure.

Into the Lake District

After lunch, we push into the Lake District, taking on the iconic climb up Breasthigh Pass. This section is a real highlight — steep, scenic, and incredibly rewarding. If we’re lucky, we may even catch sight of fast jets flying low overhead, adding to the drama of the landscape.

From here, the route drops back down into a network of lanes as we make our way toward Kendal, where we’ll finish the day after a full and varied off-road experience.
