Itinerary:
North Wales has an incredible amount to offer for green laning enthusiasts. From iconic, must-drive routes with breathtaking views to quieter, more relaxed lanes, this trip delivers a full weekend of unforgettable off-road driving — all with Snowdonia as your dramatic backdrop as we head further north.
This two-day adventure is designed to showcase the very best of the region, combining legendary lanes with scenic connectors, social stops, and a relaxed but rewarding pace.
Day 1 – Oswestry to North Wales
Starting near Oswestry, we head west toward Llangollen, quickly immersing ourselves in classic Welsh countryside.
Day 1 features some of the most iconic green lanes in the area, including:

Plus a variety of lesser-known scenic lanes
We’ll enjoy plenty of stops throughout the day to take in the views, grab photos, and explore the surroundings. Lunch will be at a local pub, offering a chance to relax and refuel before continuing the afternoon lanes.
The day finishes with a stop at a local farm shop, rounding off Day 1 before heading to overnight camp. (not included but welcome to join us) around £10-15 PN
Day 2 – Deeper into North Wales
Day 2 takes us further north, delving deeper into the heart of North Wales. As the scenery becomes increasingly rugged and dramatic, expect a true sense of adventure with remote lanes and sweeping views across valleys and mountains, all framed by the stunning landscapes of Snowdonia.
This day is designed to be both scenic and rewarding, focusing on:

Forest tracks and open mountain landscapes

Remote and lesser-known routes rarely used by others
As we continue north, the route leads toward the coast near Conway, finishing the trip on some truly stunning and often overlooked lanes, providing a relaxed yet memorable end to the adventure.
