A Typical Expedition
Every Coast-to-Coast Adventure follows the same overall journey, travelling from the North Sea to the Cumbrian Coast across three spectacular National Parks.
Day 1 – North York Moors
Your adventure begins in the historic seaside town of Sandsend, where you'll meet the group before a full expedition briefing.
From here we head into the spectacular North York Moors, tackling scenic green lanes, river crossings and open moorland tracks with panoramic views stretching for miles.
After an incredible first day behind the wheel, we'll settle into our first countryside campsite and get to know the group around the campfire.
Day 2 – Yorkshire Dales
Leaving the moors behind, today's route takes us west into the Yorkshire Dales.
Today's route showcases some of the very best driving the Yorkshire Dales has to offer, combining challenging green lanes, flowing river crossings, rocky climbs and breathtaking scenery before arriving at another carefully selected countryside campsite.
It's another day packed with unforgettable driving and spectacular scenery.
Day 3 – Lake District Adventure
Today combines legendary driving roads with unforgettable landscapes.
We'll visit the famous Wensleydale Creamery before heading through Cumbira and into the magnificent Lake District National Park, where mountain passes, historic tracks and breathtaking scenery await.
One of today's highlights is driving the iconic Breast High Road, regarded as one of the UK's greatest mountain routes.
The day finishes beside the lakes, where you can relax, enjoy the scenery and spend another evening with the group.
Day 4 – To The Cumbrian Coast
Our final day continues through the beautiful Lake District, exploring more trails, scenic roads and spectacular viewpoints before descending towards the Cumbrian Coast.
As the expedition comes to an end, there's time for photographs, a final brew and a chance to reflect and chat before making our way home.
