The Trip !
Join us for a trip along the French coastline. On this long weekend tour over the bank holiday weekend. Leaving the Uk on Friday and back on Monday late afternoon.
During this tour we Travel the coast covering unpaved roads as we cross though France. Along the way visiting sites from the world war like the Pegasus Bridge, and Gold’ Beach plus many more using a camping site central to our trip making travel each day easier and been able to leave camp set up for the duration of the tour.
Day 1:
Leaving the Uk to set sail for France. This is roughly a 4 hour crossing. Once we have arrived in France we head straight for camp. Unless your already with us from our
Marquenterre weekend.
Day 2:
Leaving camp in the morning we head for Pegasus bridge.
Here you have time to have a look around the museum before we hit the road again Carrying on along the coastline via green lanes to visit sites such as Juno Beach, Arromanches Landing Museum, Bunkers, American / Canadian Cemetery, German Batteries. Heading towards Gold beach this is where the British landed during the D-day landings. Stopping off at the newly bulit British war memorial. From here Making way towards camp having the evening to explore the local town and eat out in town or at the camp site, Also option to order fresh pastry for the Morning.
Day 3:
We continue along the coastline and green lanes before passing though Omaha Beach, with visits to Overlord Museum, Longues-sur-Mer Battery, D-day Museum finally ending up on the Beach of Utah before returning to camp.
Day 4:
After Waking up and packing we head head back towards the ferry for our return to the UK.

What you need:
- Fully road legal vehicle.
- All terrain or Mud terrain tyres.
- No low profile tyres or aggressive tread like insta turbo's.
- Full tank of fuel at start
- Bring Warm clothes is recommended.
- Advised to bring snacks and drinks.
- Camera to capture the Adventure.
- Camping equipment.
Payment Options
There are a few ways to pay. Either in full at time of booking, or pay the deposit and either pay the remaining balance or pay in monthly instalments to help spread For instalments once your deposit is made please contact us to set this up. for monthly instalments there is no interest.
